• Account data: name, email address, password (stored securely/hashed), and profile preferences when you register or manage your account
• Birth and calculation inputs: date, time, and place of birth, gender, and similar details you enter for horoscope, matching, dosha tools, numerology, arudam, panchang utilities, and other calculators
• Contact form data: name, email, subject, and message when you contact us
• Support chat: messages you send as a guest or logged-in user, and related metadata
• Matrimony profile fields: information you choose to provide in matrimony-related features
• Subscription and alert preferences: plan status, family member profiles, notification preferences, and email addresses you provide for alerts
• Payment metadata: transaction references and status via our payment partner (Razorpay). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; card data is handled by the payment provider
• Cookies and similar technology: session/auth cookies as needed to keep you signed in, a once-per-day visitor cookie (`hp_hit_day`) used for the home dashboard visitor counter, and — when Meta Pixel is enabled — advertising cookies set by Meta Platforms for ad measurement and optimization
• Visit analytics (aggregated): we record approximate visit totals and country-level aggregates derived at request time. We do not store raw visitor IP addresses for this counter
• Advertising measurement (optional): when configured, we load Meta (Facebook) Pixel on the website to measure visits and conversion events such as registrations and purchases. Meta may collect device and usage data under its own policies
• Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address, browser type, and request timing that may be collected in normal operation and security monitoring

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide panchang, horoscope, matching, calculators, and related outputs you request
• Create and manage accounts, trials, subscriptions, and one-time purchases
• Deliver opted-in email or similar alerts (for example daily prediction, birth-star, or viratham reminders)
• Respond to contact form and support chat inquiries
• Operate matrimony profile features you enable
• Improve reliability, prevent abuse, and maintain the visitor count display (including aggregated country stats)
• Measure advertising performance and conversions when Meta Pixel is enabled
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

• Payment processors (such as Razorpay) to complete checkout and verify payments
• Advertising partners (such as Meta Platforms) when Meta Pixel is enabled, for ad delivery, measurement, and related analytics under their privacy policies
• Email and messaging providers when you enable alerts that require delivery through those platforms
• Service operators and administrators who need access to operate support chat, billing admin tools, or security
• Legal authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the Service

5. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for authentication/session continuity and for the home dashboard visitor counter (`hp_hit_day`, once per day). Visit analytics store aggregated country counts only (not raw IP). When Meta Pixel is enabled, Meta may also set cookies or use similar storage for advertising measurement. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit login or related features.

6. Retention

We retain account, subscription, and support records for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution needs. Calculation inputs may be kept with your profiles or request history when required for features you use. You may request deletion of your account data through the Contact Us form; we will respond subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Your choices and controls

• Update account and alert preferences in your Account area where available
• Opt out of email or similar alerts by disabling preferences or contacting us
• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data via Contact Us

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; use a strong unique password and protect your devices.

10. International use

The Service may be accessed from different countries. By using HinduPanjang, you understand that information may be processed in locations where we or our providers operate.
